Sunnyside United is a neighbourhood church in South Surrey, B.C.  Sunnyside United values progressive Christianity rooted in The United Church of Canada tradition. 

 

We are located on 24th Avenue between the King George Highway and the new Morgan Heights development (WalMart, Home Depot, White Spot, Best Buy, etc.) in the historic Sunnyside area of Surrey.

Christ is risen!  Christ is risen, indeed!

Sunday Service - 10 am - Our service is open to everyone. We invite you to dress casually and stay following the service for tea, coffee & conversation.   For members and non-members alike, the church service is how we celebrate God's message of hope, inclusion and acceptance for all!

And the sign says "Everybody welcome, come in, kneel down and pray"
But then they passed around a plate at the end of it all
And I didn't have a penny to pay
So I got me a pen and a paper and I made up my own sign
I said, "Thank you Lord for thinking 'bout me, I'm alive and doing fine"

Office hours - 9 am to 1 pm, Wed, Thurs, and Fri.  (Office closed statutory holidays)

For children - From September to June children aged 3 to 12 attend Godly Play during the church service, a Montessori version of what some might call Sunday School.  There is also a fully stocked baby's room....
